Service & Care

The Dayton Care Center is proud to provide personalized care and assisted living for those with physical and mental disabilities, primarily U.S. veterans. The Dayton was built in 1925 as the premier hotel in Kenosha and was later converted to an assisted living facility. Our desirable lakefront location, affordability, and caring staff make us the perfect choice for potential new residents. Visit our services page to learn more about life at the Dayton.

Room & Board

Because it was originally a top-end hotel, the Dayton is equipped with 90 private rooms extending over 8 floors. Room sizes vary from spacious suites to standard singles, the majority of which have private bathrooms.

The Dayton is always looking for volunteers! We love when people give time to our residents because it aids in our mission to improve their quality of life, every day. Many of our residents are not fortunate enough to have family or loved ones in the area, so every volunteer’s time and kind words can go a long way.
